The Letter of Release

Write a letter to someone, without the intention of sending it, that has caused you pain.

Often, we suppress emotions related to painful relationships or experiences which hampers our emotional healing. This prompt calls for venting out those bottled-up feelings through an unsent letter. Detailing the hurt, your feelings towards the person, and how you wish to move forward can be a cathartic exercise and a stepping stone on your path to emotional healing.
