Often, we harbour guilt or resentment towards our past selves over situations we couldn’t control. Write a letter of forgiveness to your past self focusing on the trauma. In forgiving our past self, we acknowledge that the choices we made were the best we could do at the time, encouraging acceptance, growth, and letting go of the blame that can hinder emotional healing.
