Dialogue with Trauma

Have a conversation with your trauma, as if it’s a person.

Personifying your trauma can help you disown the experience whilst allowing for a more objective understanding of its root cause and long-term effects. This writing exercise may lead you to discovery, closure, or both. It’s a creative way to depict the push-pull dynamics of trauma, the power it holds, and how you can begin to reclaim that power.
