Sketch a ‘map’ of your emotional state across different scenarios or environments.

Depression doesn’t occur in a vacuum. Our surrounding environments often play a hefty role in our feelings. Try to imagine your psyche as a landscape with different terrains symbology for various emotions. Perhaps an open field when you’re calm, a dense thick forest during anxiety, a cliff edge for depression. This imaginative exercise may help you understand your emotional triggers better.
