A Letter to the Past

Compose a letter to your past self from the time of your trauma.

This allows you to express compassion, sympathy, and advice to the person you were at the height of your trauma. What would you like your past self to know? What advice would you give? What words of comfort or understanding can you provide? This exercise can foster a compassionate internal dialogue and promote a healthier relationship with your past.
