Pick a dramatic scene and retell it entirely from a single character’s perspective, focusing on what they perceive.

How a character perceives their surroundings can tell a lot about their emotional state and the drama unfolding around. Describe the sights, smells, and sounds they are aware of and how these observations influence their reaction and feelings. This will allow for a deeper understanding of the character’s perspectives, as well as engage the readers into the heart of the drama through emotive imagery.
