This exercise encourages you to examine your grief, to see your tears as a representation of your broken heart. What would you want to tell yourself in those tearful moments? This can help you acknowledge your pain, fostering empathy towards yourself which lead to deeper healing. Reflect on what your tears signify, are they purely of sadness or is there anger, disappointment, or fear as well?
