Conversations with Your Future Self

Write a letter to five years future you. Ask questions, set future expectations, or just share your current feelings.

This exercise is about mindfulness with an eye toward the future. Projecting yourself five years ahead offers a different perspective on your actions, decisions, hopes and fears today. Write down all the things you want your future self to remember, understand or take heed of. Reflect on how contemplating the future in this way alters your awareness of the present moment and the path you’re creating.
