Switching Personalities

Choose two characters in your story and try writing a scene where they swap personalities.

In this exercise, you get to explore the boundaries of your characters’ personalities by stepping them out of their comfort zone. How would your timid, reserved character behave if suddenly endowed with confidence and charisma? On the other hand, how would your outgoing, boisterous character react to suddenly being shy and withdrawn? Focus not just on how this changes their actions and dialogues, but also their body language, thought process, and interactions with others.
