Write a journal entry as the sun, describing the different parts of the earth you’ve seen all day.

Encouraging kids to view the world through the sun’s eyes not only enhances creativity but also facilitates understanding the rotation of the earth, time differences, and how daylight changes. The child gets to imagine all the places the sun illuminates during its ‘day’, and how those places might look and feel. In turn, this also subtly encourages a global perspective.
