Describe a scenario where darkness itself comes alive and starts hunting your protagonist.
The darkness has always been associated with horror. But how much more terrifying would it be if the darkness itself was the threat? Your protagonist can’t hide, for the shadows find a home in every nook and cranny. What happens when the very safety of the light begins to dwindle? This could be a psychological horror prompt, playing on the fear of the unknown and our natural fear of darkness and what lurks in it.
