Emotional detox often deals with letting the past go. Reflect on an event that has been haunting you or is hard to let go. Write it down in as much detail as possible and then make a conscious decision to let it go. Ritualistically saying a phrase like “I am now freeing myself of this memory” can help to create a significant break from that past event.
