Write a poem that describes a window as a ‘pane of transparency’.
This prompt encourages a play with similes, making use of a window as a symbol of transparency, reflection, or a gateway to another world. Describe the window and everything it lets you see – but also how it might affect the outlook of the viewer. Is looking through a window like seeing into someone’s soul? Or perhaps the window’s reflection serves as a mirror to one’s own self?
