Name Acrostics

Write an acrostic poem using the letters of your name.

Kindergarteners use the letters in their own name to create a poem, finding one word that starts with each letter, practicing forming those letters, and also expressing their ideas and feelings. This encourages children to value their names, practice letter formation, and cultivate their creativity and self expression.
