Ghosts of Sleepy Hollow Revisited

Rewrite Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” from the perspective of the Headless Horseman.

What if the Headless Horseman was not the antagonist but a misunderstood spirit? Explore the Horseman’s past, his emotions, his side of the story. Are the town’s whispers about him true or do they unjustly paint him as a monster? This can be an opportunity to comment on the themes of gossip, rumors and how they can greatly affect someone’s character in society.
