Create a character who uses forgotten or overlooked skills to survive after the apocalypse.

The zombie apocalypse leads to the downfall of modern technology, forcing survivors to resort to old ways. Maybe your character is a historian, fascinated with human evolution and ancient survival techniques. As the world falls apart around him, he turns to this forgotten knowledge to survive. How does the character use these skills in practical ways to evade zombies, procure food, and find shelter? How does his seemingly ‘useless’ knowledge become the key to his survival?
