Dreams and premonitions are powerful tools for foreshadowing. They can be cryptic, direct, or symbolic indicators of forthcoming events. Your theme can revolve around the character’s interpretation of their dream or premonition, the denial or doubt they experience afterward, or how it influences their behavior. The unpredictability of such visions stimulates intrigue and an eerie sense of foreboding within the story.
