Construct a story where the protagonist encounters a divine entity which transforms their understanding of existence.

Religious texts and spiritual lore are rife with stories of divine encounters transforming ordinary lives in extraordinary ways. Narrate an episode where your character has a similar encounter. This encounter can be overwhelming, comforting, or even terrifying. It could challenge their existing beliefs or affirm them. Consider how this encounter alters their perception of God, universe, and self, and influences their actions henceforth.
