Inside Out

Write a story where the protagonist believes they are stuck in a dream, only to realize it’s their reality.

This takes us on a journey inside the character’s mind, exploring the psychological aspects of perception, reality, and illusion. The twist will be the shock of realizing that what they believed to be a dream, is, in fact, their reality. Contemplating this situation leads to deeper questioning about reality, existence, and consciousness, providing the writer with multiple motifs and metaphors to incorporate into their plot twists.
