Write a story for a post-apocalyptic Earth and how humans are surviving.
Inspired by novels such as ‘Hunger Games’ and ‘Divergent’, this prompt stimulates students to weave storytelling with critical thinking. They need to decide the cause of apocalypse – global warming, nuclear war, economic collapse, a global pandemic, a natural catastrophe, and so on. Then talk about how society has changed or adapted to survive, new laws, a new order, resistance movements etc.
