Conversations with Heartbreak

Write an imaginary dialogue between yourself and your heartbreak.

Personifying our pain often allows us to grapple with it in a different, more digestible dimension. Imagine your heartbreak as a person or entity with whom you can communicate. Ask it questions. What lessons does it have for you? How does it justify its existence? Challenge yourself to empathize with its role in your life and seek to understand the answers it gives.
