Write a story about a person who begins to believe they have a doppelgänger that’s causing havoc in their life.
A doppelgänger usually signifies dire events or drastic changes. Your protagonist should progressively become more paranoid about this other ‘them’. This prompt explores questions of identity, reality, and paranoia. It challenges the writer to sustain tension and uncertainty throughout the narrative while giving readers a chance to analyze the protagonist’s sanity.
