In real-life, people often mask their true intentions under the veil of polite conversation or double entendre. In this exercise, your task is to create a scenario where characters’ spoken words are at odds with their thoughts, actions, or motivations. This will involve using subtext and subtlety, and will challenge you to create a dialogue that is multi-layered and imprints the art of insinuation, creating a strong, dramatic tension.
