Unexpected Ally

Describe a character who seems to be the antagonist, but turns out to be a surprising ally.

In traditional storytelling, we often color our universe with clear-cut characters – the hero, the villain, the sidekick, and so forth. Challenge this way of thinking by creating a character who, at first glance, appears to be an enemy but ultimately reveals themselves as an ally.
