True Red’s Dilemma

Rewrite the story of Little Red Riding Hood with a suspenseful twist, Red doesn’t know Grandma is the wolf.

As the story progresses, Red would gradually gather clues that something was off about her grandmother. The suspense in this narrative lies in the slow-building realization of the danger she’s in and her subsequent actions to escape. The suspense is created through dramatic irony – the audience knowing something the protagonist doesn’t – as well as her growing suspicion.
