Trapped in the Map

Imagine a character who is magically trapped inside a map of a magical kingdom, and can interact with the real world through it.

For this prompt, consider how your character interacts with the people handling the map, as well what life is like within the confines of parchment and ink. Are they able to influence events outside the map? Do they long to escape, or have they found a unique form of freedom? Use this to investigate the themes of communication, isolation, reality versus illusion, and freedom versus imprisonment.
