Write about your own life but exaggerate or underplay certain aspects to create a biographical fiction.

Take your own experiences, hopes, dreams, and fears, then magnify or diminish their significance. You might find an alternate version of yourself whose life looks much different than your own. Examining events and traits from a different perspective promotes introspection and imaginative exploration and grants you another lens to reflect on your own life.
