This prompt plays with reader’s anticipation, leaving them wanting more. How do you build up tension, reveal little by little and then end up in a complete cliffhanger? What are the possible scenarios playing out in the reader’s mind? This encourages writers to play with pacing and suspense, leaving spaces for reader’s imagination to take over.
