The Last Hourglass

Imagine your protagonist finding an hourglass that runs out in seven days and brings about an irreversible change.

This change can be something dangerous, mysterious, or even beneficial. How is your character coping with the looming deadline? How do they utilize the time left to prevent, or prepare for their fate? What conflicts arise in the struggle? The concept of time and its inevitability always adds an element of suspense, as well as the urgency to make every moment count.
