Story from a Photograph

Choose a photograph and tell a story about what’s happening in the image.

This exercise develops visual literacy and narration skills. It encourages children to examine the details in a photograph, make interpretations and weave a storyline around it. It promotes creativity, imagination and meaningful storytelling, as the children attempt to create background stories for the characters in the picture.
