Write a collection of anecdotes from the perspective of an observer on a ship.

This character could be a mere sailor, someone not directly involved in command but privy to the comings and goings on the ship, the people, their bonding, their struggles and even their secrets. An endeavor to capture the stories that often, can only be seen from the edges, this prompt encourages exploration of themes such as in-group dynamics, power hierarchies and interpersonal relationships.
