Sinister Secrets

Write about a character who constantly smiles and is excessively pleasant, but has a dark secret.

The manipulative aspect of a friendly, non-threatening exterior hiding a terrible secret creates an intriguing dichotomy. Allow your character to be a master of deception. What is the dark secret they are hiding? Why do they carry this secret? How does their ‘mask of pleasantness’ affect those around them? Delving into these questions adds depth and horror to the character.
