Bring an object that is meaningful to you, create a drawing of it, and write a descriptive piece about the object.

Each student would present an item they hold dear, create a drawing of it, and write a narrative piece around it using descriptive language. This prompt not only encourages visual interaction and description, but also allows exploration of personal sentiments, articulating the importance of the chosen object, and translating ideas from visual to text—the multi-faceted essence of storytelling.
