Robbed Redemption

Imagine a villain who tries to redeem himself, but his past actions prevent others from accepting this change.

Many characters, good or bad, seek redemption, but are they always granted that opportunity? This theme encourages exploration of forgiveness, trust, and second chances in the face of unforgettable atrocities. Do our past mistakes forever define us, or are we allowed to change and grow? It brings into focus a society’s willingness to accept change and the lengths a person will have to go to prove that they are no longer defined by their past.
