Write a character who used to be a part of a terrifying dystopian government and still bears scars, both physical and emotional, from that time.
Characters with a dark history additionally shrouded in the horrifying regime could bring richness and depth to the narrative. What role did they play in the regime? How has their past influenced their current state of mind and behavior? What horrors did they witness or participate in? This prompt will allow plenty of room for psychological exploration and dystopian themes.
