Perspectives of the Conspirators

Pen a series of letters from the conspirators involved in Caesar’s assassination, written in the days leading up to and following the Ides of March.

Each letter should reflect the conspirator’s personal motivations, hopes for Rome’s future, and guilt or regret (if any). This prompt lets you explore multiple perspectives and shades of morality involved in the monumental event, thus, weaving a rich, layered narrative.
