Identify a personal hero and describe what makes them admirable.
We all have someone we look up to, be it a popular figure, a relative, or a friend. This prompt allows 7th graders to communicate who they admire and why. It encourages introspection, evaluation of personal values, and articulation of appreciation and respect. It poses an opportunity for students to ponder about the characteristics that they believe make a person worth emulating.
