Pensieve Perspective

Write about an incident from your past from another person’s point of view.

Dive deep into your memories and pull out a significant event. Now, instead of writing it from your perspective, imagine it from the viewpoint of another person who was involved or an observer. This exercise helps to cultivate empathy, and broadens one’s understanding of others’ emotions and reactions. It allows an exploration of the multiple facets and interpretations of a single event.
