Create a completely new land and write a tale taking place there.
This exercise will stretch your students’ creativity and imagination. Not only will they be crafting a unique story, but they will also create the story’s setting from scratch. They will need to define the landscape, the environment, and its inhabitants. This will test and develop their descriptive abilities, world-building and their skills in character establishment.
