Draw and write about a person you consider a hero and what makes them special.
Heroes come in different shapes and forms, from parents to fire fighters to superheroes. With this prompt, kindergarteners are encouraged to think critically about who they consider as a hero and why. This exercise will help them learn to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas on paper, and will get them thinking about the qualities that make someone heroic.
