Moral Quandary

Create a story that ends with a protagonist making a morally ambiguous decision, leaving the readers pondering over it.

This ending engages the reader’s ethics, confronting them with an uncertain verdict that challenges their moral compass. Which side do they empathize with? Who is right or wrong? Does that decision make them a hero, villain, or an anti-hero? Exploring characters’ morality provides an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into their motivations, consequences, their evolution, and the broader philosophical debates that arise from such decisions.
