Write about a future where memories can be bought and sold, and a character who stumbles upon a memory of a serious crime.

The suspense derives from uncertainty and ethical dilemmas—weaving a cautionary tale about the downsides of a future where privacy no longer exists. The protagonist has to decide what they’ll do with the memory: can they use it to prevent the crime, or will they be accused of it? The theme explores the value, vulnerability, and subjective nature of human memory.
