Letters From The Frontline

Write a series of letters from a soldier to his loved ones back home.

The personal letters from the battlefield can bring raw emotions, personal struggles, and the harsh reality of war to life. What does the soldier share about their encounters with the enemy, the conditions in the camps or their hope for an imminent return home? More importantly, what do they choose to conceal, and why? This prompt encourages exploration of communication during war, emotional tensions between truth and protection, and the solitary human experience amidst collective chaos.
