Historical Interview

Conduct an interview with an elderly relative or someone from the community who can shed light on the past.

Time alters our perspective of the past; sometimes it is softened by nostalgia, other times sharpened with regret. Interviewing a senior can open windows to personal histories, local events, and forgotten practices. This activity challenges interviewing and reporting skills, and is also an excellent way to understand personal narratives, community milestones, and social history.
