Frozen Fear

Write a story about someone who gets lost during a furious winter snowstorm, and happens upon a seemingly abandoned winter camp.

Think about the suspense that builds up as they gradually discover signs that they’re, in fact, not alone in camp. Interpret your protagonist’s feelings— both their initial relief on finding shelter from the storm and then their growing dread as they realize they might be sharing the camp with an unknown entity. Delve into themes of isolation, fear of the unknown, and human survival instincts.
