Develop a story in which a character’s best friend turns into their worst enemy.

This prompts you to dig into the dynamics that can transform loyal friendships into bitter rivalries. Does the character feel betrayed or heartbroken? How does the transition affect the main character and shape the rest of the story? Do they make an attempt to redeem their lost friendship or do they face-off against each other?
