Grief, love, anger, all these universal emotions are now taboo. Writing from this perspective opens up a range of possibilities and allows the author to explore the intrinsic value of emotions. This prompt also begs the question, to what extent might a dystopian government go to exert control over its citizens and what would a lack of emotion mean for interpersonal relationships and personal identity?
