Championship Day

Write about a day when you won a sports championship and how it felt.

Even if they have yet to win, they can write about how they imagine it would feel. This prompt asks children to explore the feelings of accomplishment, pride and joy that come from winning a sporting event. They can write about the journey to the championship, the final tense moments just before they won and how they celebrated thereafter.
