Craft a story about two lovers separated by great distances, who faithfully communicate through messages in a bottle.

What do their messages contain? How do they cope with the distance and time apart? This exercise encourages writing on the themes of longing, isolation, patience and the belief in the power of love. Dealing with the constraints of time, the prompt also examines the imaginative ways people try to bridge distances and express their feelings for each other.
