A Tail of Two Pets

Write a story about a day in the lives of two very different pets.

These could be your pets, pets you wish you had, or completely made up characters. What kind of adventures do they embark on together? Do they get along or do they constantly get on each other’s nerves? Such a prompt may encourage children to consider perspectives of others, even if those ‘others’ are animal characters. This can build empathy, creativity, and enhance their understanding of characters and their development in storytelling.
